What is Sense Rugby?
Sense Rugby is a rugby based Occupational Therapy program. The group program is run by our Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapy Assistants.
What does Sense Rugby Involve?
We use rugby based drills to help kids develop their physical, sensory, emotional and social skills while also having fun and being a part of a team environment. Hunter Coast Therapy welcomes children and young people of all abilities to join in on the fun! We understand everyone participates differently and we are lead by the child on how they wish to engage.
Program of Support details:
Sense Rugby is structured as a Program of Support, running each school term.
Where: Newcastle at Henderson Park Merewether.
When: 45 minutes sessions, once a week after school
Cost: The program can be funded privately or through NDIS Plans where the child is Plan or Self-Managed.

What is Hunter Coast Hang Out?
HC Hang Out is a social group program like no other, devised by our speech pathologist and allied health team. Work together with a bunch of mates to develop skills that are "actually useful" to tackle the real world. Explore the outdoors, cook up a storm, get active, show off your gaming skills and get creative
What does HC Hang Out Involve?
The program is run by our Speech Pathologist over a 10 week period. Please see the HC Hang Out Timetable to each sessions details.

Where: Our Hunter Coast Therapy Rooms, 4/10 William Street Adamstown
When: 1.5 hour sessions, once a week after school 4pm - 5:30pm
Cost: The program can be funded privately or through NDIS Plans where the child is Plan or Self-Managed.
